Nirmala Goddard

I am a first generation born Singaporean.  I have deep roots in Malaysia as my parents were both 2nd generation born Malaysian. My Malaysia extended family are predominantly based in Kluang(Johor), Seremban, KL and Kelantan .  I spent most of my childhood school break days growing up in our family rubber plantation communities (Kluang & Segamat). I made the move to California when I married my husband, Dave. We are Engineers that met and work at the same company. We have lived in various areas of South Orange County for almost 30 years. We are a close knit inter-racial family of four, We have 2 adult daughters.

From 2016 to 2019 we were fortunate to live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during an Expat assignment.  It was a tremendous opportunity for us to reconnect with my extended family and fully immerse ourselves (especially my youngest daughter) into the Malaysian culture
