Khim Teoh hails from Cheras, while husband and business partner, Soon Teoh, is from Petaling Jaya. The couple met in 2006 and he moved to Southern California in 2007. Khim came to Los Angeles in 1993 to UC Irvine where she majored in Marketing. Upon graduation, she was involved in the retail business, successfully managing gift shops in the Disneyland area. In 2016, the duo ventured out into the restaurant business. They carefully architectured their dream idea of establishing a Malaysian eatery in Orange county. The couple joined the MASC in 2017 and have been ardent supporters of the organization ever since
